Dear friend or fellow believer:

While this site is currently under construction, we want to assure you that at our physical location, 3821 W. 34th Street in Indianapolis, Speedway General Baptist Church, the Lord has already laid a solid foundation grounded in His Word. We enjoy coming together to give praise and thanks to our Lord at Sunday services. We enjoy worshipping Him for all that He has done for us and for His work around us. We believe in showing our commitment to Christ for the gift of salvation he offers freely (if only we choose to follow him) by serving him and sharing the Good News with others.

If you feel like something is missing in your life, like there is an emptiness inside, we invite you to come experience the love of Christ, learn about what God can do for you and what He expects from you as His child. We offer Sunday School classes for children and adults at 10 a.m. followed by morning worship service at 11 a.m. A Sunday evening service is held at
6 p.m. and is another opportunity to see God at work, giving Him praise in fellowship with Christian believers.

We have dedicated teachers for our Sunday School classes and Wednesday night Bible study who want to help others understand God's instructions for their lives through both the Old and New Testaments. Lessons are geared toward finding ways to apply God's truth to our daily lives and live for Him. The Bible study is held weekly in the fellowship hall at 7 p.m.

We are building our bus ministry and encourage you to call and find out how your children can be added to the Sunday School bus route.

Our youth group program continues to grow and meets every other Thursday - January through September. Beginning in October (through December) we combine youth group activities with play practice for our annual Christmas program presented by our Sunday School and meet every Thursday until the program. It is a blessing to see the final outcome of all the hard work the youth (and their play director and leaders) put into the annual program.

Service is an important part of showing our love for Christ. Each month, on the second Tuesday night, Missionary and Brotherhood meet at 6:30 p.m. followed by a meal. Our Missionary Society works with international missions while Brotherhood works locally to meet the needs in the community. We invite you to come and be part of the monthly meeting. This is a great opportunity to serve the Lord while joining others in fellowship.

We are excited about our growth and hope to soon open The Kings' Kids - the daycare ministry of Speedway General Baptist Church. Call 293-2616 for enrollment information or to register your child.
